Explore Your Rural Options!

Are you a medical student early in your education interested in exploring your options in preparing for rural practice?
Are you anxious about the upcoming residency application season? Are you hoping to match in Family Medicine?

If you can answer “Yes” to any of these questions – We have just the event!

The RTT Collaborative Residency Fest and Fair is an online event designed to help students become acquainted with participating programs in our cooperative and:

  • Engage in conversation with rural residency directors, faculty, staff and residents
  • Explore rural family medicine residency programs and other rural specialties who are participating programs in The RTT Collaborative
  • Connect with peers who share an interest in preparing for rural practice

If you are a current or recently graduated medical student or osteopathic medical student you are invited to participate in a Zoom meeting and “Rural Residency Fest and Fair,” from 3:00-5:00 PM Eastern Time ( 4:00-6:00 PM CT; 5:00-7:00 PM MT and 6:00-8:00 PM PT) on July 19, 2022. Find out about rural residency options across the nation. Meet fellow students as well as a panel of residents, faculty and residency coordinators and  learn how to better prepare for the upcoming application season. You will need to register for this event in order to receive a secured zoom link a day or two before the event allowing you to participate.

Participating programs registered to date include:

  • Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana – Kalispell, MT

Only students are eligible to participate  – and only residents, faculty, or staff associated with the participating residency programs will will receive a link to participate.
