Integrated RTTs – Amery and New Richmond, WI
The new 1-2 rural training track provides a unique real practice environment. The first year will be spent at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN where we have provided training in Family Medicine since 1972. Time at Methodist Hospital will provide high volume in-patient care, critical care for all ages, and obstetrics. The supportive learning environment and excellent faculty will prepare you for the rural medicine experience in western Wisconsin. The second and third year will be spent at Amery Hospitals & Clinics and Westfields Hospitals & Clinics where medical staff and faculty provide continuity care in rural Wisconsin.
Rural, yet close to metro areas. East of the St. Croix river, Amery and New Richmond nestle in rural western Wisconsin. Imagine a family medicine residency near rich farmland, plentiful parks and trails and a supportive community. All with the vibrant Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area within a 60-minute drive. More opportunities in clinics and hospitals. Residents train at three separate hospitals during residency. All of them are part of the Health Partners care group, an award-winning integrated health care system.
