Developing Rural Track Program – Torrington, Connecticut and Fort Kent, Maine

Rural family medicine residency program with two rural sites in development, now accredited and anticipated recruitment beginning in the summer 2023 with implementation July 1, 2024, located in beautiful Torrington, CT, and Fort Kent, Maine, with first year training in Bridgeport, CT. Our mission is to train a full-spectrum primary care workforce that will serve rural and underserved communities, with a focus on team-based, comprehensive, high quality, patient centered care, and to produce advocates and future leaders in community health and wellness.
