Rural Track Program – Torrington, Connecticut

Our residency program is excited to recruit our first class of residents this year! Our mission is to train full-spectrum family physicians who will serve and advocate for rural and underserved communities, with a focus on team-based, comprehensive, high quality, patient-centered care.

Unique Features

Our program brings a wealth of experienced and talented full-scope family physicians who role model the holistic care of patients and families across all ages and stages of life and are leaders within their hospital systems and within their communities. We provide a nimble, resident-centered, and community-focused curriculum, an outstanding clinical education from committed full-scope family physicians and local specialists who believe in primary care, and a commitment to serving and partnering with our communities. Finally, we train residents in the skills that they will need to provide holistic, full spectrum medicine/across all ages and stages, and to be competent and compassionate physician leaders in any and all practice settings.
