An “unopposed” (stand alone) Family Medicine Residency Program. Program focusses on full scope rural family medicine, based at the University of CA Davis for PGY1 and our sole community hospital and rural health clinic in Mendocino County for PGY2 and PGY3.
To give our resident physicians a strong urban and academic experience that complements their rural experience, the PGY1 will be focused on inpatient training based at UC Davis with 6 months of Adult Medicine, 1 month of Pediatrics, 2 months of OB, 2 months of Emergency Medicine (adult and pediatric), and 1 month of Critical Care. All 3 years emphasize Behavioral and Population Health and the Underserved.
