Rural Track Program – Amery and New Richmond, WI
This 1-2 rural training track provides a unique rural practice environment. The first year will be spent at Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park, MN, where we provide high volume inpatient care, critical care for all ages, and obstetrics. The supportive learning environment and excellent faculty will prepare you for the rural medicine experience in western Wisconsin. The second and third year will be spent at Amery Hospitals and Clinics and Westfield’s Hospitals and Clinics where medical staff and faculty provide continuity care in rural Wisconsin.

Rural, yet close to metro areas. East of the St. Croix river, Amery and New Richmond nestle in rural western Wisconsin. Imagine a family medicine residency near rich farmland, plentiful parks and trails and a supportive community. All with the vibrant Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area within a 60-minute drive. More opportunities in clinics and hospitals. Residents train at three separate hospitals during residency.
