Rural Residency Fest 2020 has been designed to help students:
- Engage in conversation with rural residency directors, faculty, staff and residents
- Approach residency interviews with confidence
- Describe the diversity of rural programs, in multiple specialties, across the US
- Connect with peers who share an interest in preparing for rural practice
If you are a current or recently graduated medical student or osteopathic medical student you are invited to participate in a Zoom meeting and “Rural Residency Fest,” from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern Time, July 22, 2020. Find out about rural residency options, across specialties and across the nation. Meet fellow students as well as a panel of residents, faculty and residency coordinators in learning how to better prepare for your participation in National Conference and/or for the upcoming application season. You will need to register for this event in order to receive a zoom link a day or two before the event allowing you to participate.
*Although this event will prepare students for National Conference, it is not sponsored by AAFP and NC registration is not required for students to participate.
Only students are eligible to participate – no residents, faculty, or staff except for the 12 panelists whom we’ve invited.
