St. Mary’s Family Medicine Rural Training Track Residency is being developed in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin. It will be a 1 -2 RTT Family Medicine residency program model in which residents spend the first year primarily in Stevens Point at St. Michael’s completing inpatient rotations and establishing a continuity patient panel during 2 half-days at St. Mary’s, Rhinelander. Increasing to 3 – 5 half-days per week in PGY2 and PGY3 with a full spectrum of family medicine training taught in an apprenticeship model.
